Pray With Us!

Hello friends! As many of you may know, me and my husband are currently expecting our first child after (close to) a year of marriage! God knew exactly what He was doing when He placed this little blessing into our lives and we couldn't be more happier!

I wanted to share a little bit more in detail about how God has been using this pregnancy, and the miracles we have seen through it. Many may not be aware, but I have struggled with an autoimmune disease for many years. After moving to Minnesota, my health had declined a little bit from the stress of moving and many changes that came along with it. This past year I have spent getting my health back to "normal" which has been a very slow and difficult journey for me. Since I first discovered I had chronic health issues, my doctors warned me that in the future it would be very hard for me to have children due to the impact of my illnesses. This is something me and my husband have kept in mind but have had peace in God that when the time was right he would surely bless us with a baby. With the fluctuations of my health, it seemed to me at times that it would be impossible for this to happen. However, God had different plans in mind and while we were advancing in our plans for internship He decided to bless us with a baby. The news of this left us shocked and honestly in a frantic regarding internship plans. However, God has never failed to show us that He is with us in every stage of life and has been miraculously keeping me and the baby in good health! It truly is a miracle!

Because of this new season of life we are transitioning into, we have decided to post pone our travel plans till fall 2023 so that we can take time enjoying this precious year with our family and friends. During this year I will be focusing on my health and preparing for the newest member of our family and William will be taking time off school to support our family. We have made our way from Minnesota to Florida where we will be staying until fall 2023.

Through this year, we hope to continue with raising support and keeping in contact with all of those who wish to participate in our journey and of course our family! We will be sharing updates and prayer requests through this website so you can have a place to return and reflect on how the Lord has been at work. Over the next couple of months here are a few ways you can specifically be praying for us:

• for William to find a more permanent job and continue finding peace and rest through his work

• for my pregnancy to continue to go smoothly with little health complications in the future

• for God to continue providing for us in the most unexpected ways as we look to continue partnering with future site leaders overseas

• for William to have strength and motivation to finish out the semester's finals well
